Job Description –WordPress Website Maintenance Intern
You’ll support the maintenance and improvement of WordPress sites while developing practical skills in web operations, communication, and problem-solving.
At Komosion, curiosity matters more than perfection.
We don’t expect you to know everything, we expect you to ask good questions and learn fast.
What You’ll Do
● Support the maintenance of multiple WordPress client websites.
● Help handle client requests related to content updates, small fixes, and improvements.
● Assist with updating content, plugins, themes, and WordPress core safely.
● Learn to troubleshoot basic front-end and back-end issues.
● Help monitor website performance, security, and cross-device compatibility.
● Communicate clearly with the team (and occasionally clients) about task progress and issues.
What We Care About Most
● You enjoy figuring things out and asking why, not just how.
● You’re open to feedback and iteration (progress over perfection).
Basic Requirements (Entry-Level)
● Basic understanding of HTML & CSS (PHP/JS is a plus, not a must).
● Willingness to learn how themes, plugins, and hosting work together.
● Ability to follow instructions, document what you’ve done, and ask questions when stuck.
● Basic English communication (written is more important than spoken).
Nice to Have (Not Required)
● Any exposure to:
○ Wordpress
○ PHP or JavaScript
○ Hosting environments (shared hosting, cPanel, or similar)
○ SEO basics or Google Analytics
○ Cloud platforms (AWS Lightsail/EC2)
● Personal projects, experiments, or curiosity-driven learning (even unfinished ones).
Why Join Komosion
● Work on real websites used by real users.
● Learn through doing, fixing, and improving — not theory only.
● A team culture that values:
○ Curiosity over ego
○ Progress over perfection
○ Learning together, across experience levels
● Clear path to grow into deeper technical or platform roles if you perform well.
