Are you passionate about bag design, intricate detailing, and innovative embellishments? IPA-NIMA is seeking a talented Assistant Bag Designer to work closely with our design team to bring unique and highly decorative handbag designs to life.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the design and development of handbag collections with a focus on embellishments (beading, embroidery, appliqué, etc.).
- Research and experiment with new materials, textures, and embellishment techniques.
- Collaborate with artisans and suppliers to develop high-quality, handcrafted detailing.
- Create sketches, technical drawings, and detailed spec sheets for production.
- Work alongside the production team to ensure design integrity is maintained from concept to final product.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, materials, and innovative embellishment techniques.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Degree in Fashion Design, Accessories Design, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in handbag or accessory design, with a focus on embellishments.
- Strong hand-sketching and digital design skills (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, or equivalent).
- Knowledge of embroidery, beading, and other embellishment techniques.
- Passion for artisanal craftsmanship and detail-oriented work.
