POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Hotel: Meliá Ho Tram Beach Resort
• Job Title: Hotel Intern (Thực tập sinh Khách sạn)
• Department: To be assigned based on Internship Program
• Report to: Department Supervisor/ Manager

OBJECTIVE & OVERVIEW:

The Hotel Intern will support the assigned department in daily operations while gaining practical experience in a professional hospitality environment. The internship program is designed to provide students with hands-on exposure to hotel operations, customer service standards, and workplace skills aligned with their field of study.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist the assigned department with daily operational tasks and administrative duties.
• Support service delivery and ensure compliance with hotel standards and procedures.
• Participate in departmental projects, activities, and training sessions.
• Maintain professional conduct and confidentiality of company information.
• Follow all company policies, safety regulations, and grooming standards.
• Complete internship assignments and reports required by the educational institution.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Currently enrolled in a college, university, or vocational training institution.
• Major related to Hospitality, Tourism, Business Administration, Human Resources, Finance, Culinary Arts, or other relevant fields.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work in a team environment.
• Basic English communication skills are preferred.
• Able to commit to the agreed internship period.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Working schedule: 5 days per week.
• Working hours: 9 hours per day (including meal break).
• Meals are provided at the Employee Canteen during working days.
• Compliance with all hotel rules, regulations, and grooming standards is required.

INTERNSHIP ALLOWANCE & ACCOMMODATION SUPPORT:

1. For students whose permanent residence is outside Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province:

• Monthly internship allowance: 2,000,000 VND.
• Shared accommodation provided by the company.
• If the intern chooses not to stay at the accommodation arranged by the company, an additional housing allowance of 1,000,000 VND/month will be provided.

2. For students whose permanent residence is within Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province:

• Monthly internship allowance: 1,500,000 VND.
• Accommodation is not provided.
